Ralph's Meat Company operate their own Meat Safety Quality Assurance (MSQA) program which is monitored by an AQIS appointed veterinary officer on a daily basis. The quality program is a HACCP based system approved by AQIS which is a process control system designed to identify, prevent or control microbial & other hazards in meat processing. Steps are designed to prevent problems before they occur and to correct deviations as soon as they are detected

Healthy Livestock
Ralph's have an extensive number of highly experienced livestock buyers who source livestock from lush green pastures and accredited feedlots Australia wide. National Vendor Declarations (NVD) are provided with all livestock deliveries which guarantee healthy livestock.

Welfare of Animals
Ralph's is committed in protecting the welfare of animals. All animals are handled in a way that minimize the risk of injury, pain and suffering. An AQIS veterinary officer is in attendance during working hours to inspect the livestock. Revolutionary elevated yards at our Seymour plant ensure the cleanliness of livestock at all times.

QA & Halal
- Chemical Lean (CL) testing is performed
daily at regular intervals in the laboratory on plant.
- Regular auditing of quality systems by
senior Ausmeat and AQIS representatives.
- TVC, E-coli and Salmonella
Microbiological testing conducted daily
using NATA approved laboratories.
- Halal program managed by the ICCV the
major Islamic organization responsible for the certification, monitoring and supervision of Halal food exports from Australia.
